Love this property!

This was our second time renting this particular unit and we absolutely love it! The view is amazing and the condo is set up wonderfully. We are a family of 4, with two girls ages 7 and 12 so the bedroom layout works perfectly for us. Our favorite part of the trip is always enjoying the beautiful mornings on the lanai. The access to the pool and beach from the unit is awesome if you use the stairwell right next to the unit. All the staff at the beach bar are great, can't wait for next year!

Great views and sunsets
Posted on: 5/6/2015
We just got home yesterday, after spending 10 days in this unit. We LOVED this vacation. I am a review reader, so I am giving an honest review based on the things I loved and things that could be improved. Our first impression was that it is just as the pictures show, gorgeous view, nice flooring and upgraded everything.... But you can tell it's it has had plenty of use with marks on the wall, kitchen cabinets that no longer have their soft close, missing drawer handle on one of the bedroom dressers and tile that was missing in the kitchen - which we declined to have repaired during our stay, so it was covered with a rug) HOWEVER, that can quickly be overlooked when you look out over the lanai and see the lagoon and ocean. This was a perfect spot for our family of 4 (two boys ages 6 and 5). We have special dietary concerns so having the kitchen was very important to us, we only had two meals (breakfast) off the property and I love to cook......The kitchen has the basics, I missed a few things, like a whisk and griddle pan for pancakes, mixing bowls (we used a stock pot) and they only had 1 kitchen towel in the drawer, so I had to use bath towels to dry plastics etc. It had plenty of cookware and basics like can opener etc. There were beach towels, beach toys and bags to carry them in, a small cooler so we could pack a lunch and take it to the beach and plenty of room for all of us to have personal space. It's a bit of a trek to get to the beach, but we started using the fire stairwell right by the unit to get to the pool and beach (rather than the elevator on the opposite side of the building), unfortunately, you can't come back in that way, but I'll take the longer route to have the view from the lanai any day! This is a relatively quiet place. There are two pages of resort rules, but we found them easy to follow....kids can't horseplay or throw balls in the pool, but that's what the beach is for, and I actually appreciated the fact that it was truly relaxing, unlike the Disney Aulani which, although cool, was so over-stimulating 24-7. I ran the beach strand several times...it's not long, but good enough to feel active while relaxing and with all the swimming, there is plenty of ways to squeeze in a good workout. We also found that when the rest of the island had rain, Ko Olina was allllll sunshine! A great spot for a beach vacation. Facilities, pool and grounds were great. Loved the live music at the bar! We will for sure come back!! Mahalo!

Dream Vacation - Fantastic for Families!
Posted on: 5/6/2015
We had the most amazing vacation at this property. Phyllis was sensational, I cannot say enough about her and how much she helped us! We have never had an easier time with booking and her above and beyond service was incredible! The room was stocked with water toys, chairs, pots and pans! The room was clean and beautiful. Sleeping with the doors and windows open most nights. The staff was amazing and helpful. The grounds are beautiful. We really loved the toddler pool area which even with the Ocean steps from our doorstep, we utilized everyday. The staff at the bar were friendly too. We were in walking distance of everything. Went to the character breakfast at Disney which my son loved. The Ko'Olina market area had yummy food and convenient grocery store. Honestly, we did leave the property as it was our first time in Hawaii, however you really never have to leave. There is a marina close by and food you can buy. Our son was a toddler so limited, however I plan on going back when he is older and taking advantage of the Marina! I cannot say enough about the Beach Villas! Vacation to remember!

The Best of Hawaii
Posted on: 5/6/2015
My family and I stayed at this beach villa during the middle of February and it was truly wonderful. The villa was very clean, well stocked, and had the most incredible location - just above Lagoon 2 with a view of the beach from every room. The location on the 4th floor was perfect for being above the activity, but close enough to feel like you could almost touch the ocean. Superb sunset location. The villa was finished beautifully with beautiful floors, counters, and all stainless top-end appliances. It was more than I was usually spend on lodging, but well worth the money. The management was very accomodating, which included adjusting to our schedule and meeting us in very, very early morning to give us keys and guide us to the villa.

Great view, fantastic property, perfect location
Posted on: 5/6/2015
My family of 4 (boys ages 13 and 10) stayed in this unit between Christmas and New Year's. This truly is one of the best rental units at Ko Olina. Clean, extremely well maintained, very well stocked, and spectacular is the only way to describe the view. The rental process is very smooth, and communication thru Phyllis is very prompt. We enjoyed being away from the crowds on Waikiki. During the holiday week, Ko Olina was significantly quieter than the adjacent Disney Aulani, which was a madhouse. We found the parking space to be fine, but that's probably because there was a Mini Cooper parked in the next spot during our week, not a Porsche SUV.

Fantastic View and location
Posted on: 5/6/2015
The condo was exactly like what was shown on the internet....the view was spectacular! The property was clean and all the amenities were very nice! We liked being on the west side of the island - better weather and fewer people! Phyllis, the contact agent, was very helpful and readily answered questions by email before we arrived. We would highly recommend this condo to others and hope to come back some day!

Great Location and View!
Posted on: 5/6/2015
This is an outstanding property - terrific views, and immaculate condition. Easy access to parking and all ameneties. Fourth floor view was amazing - great sunsets every day. The condo building is in close proximity to excellent restaurants. Quiet and relaxed - a far cry from the wall to wall hustle bustle and traffic of Waikiki - we highly recommend this loaction. Will be back at a future time. The property manager, Phyllis, was terrific - easy to deal with and very accommodating - excellent overall service.

Family Trip of a Lifetime
Posted on: 5/6/2015
We stayed here during August of 2012. We stayed for 7 nights, or our 10 nights in Hawaii. The location was ideal for us - we were away from the intensity of Waikiki, but within a short drive of all the places we wanted to get to in the car. More often than not though, we just stayed at the resort. The kids number one request was to go swimming everyday, multiple times a day. Hard for anyone to get tired of swimming when we could alternate between the beach and pool so easily. There were extra toys and supplies throughout the condo. The condo itself was extremely clean from the floor to the appliances to the sheets and bathrooms. Felt better than a top line hotel. Phyllis was extremely professional and super responsive before, during and after our stay. We'll be back to the condos at this resort and will seek out staying with the same owner / Phyllis if possible.

Ko Olina Beach Villa with the best views on Oahu!
Posted on: 5/6/2015
My wife and I just returned from staying 8 days at the 4th Floor Beach Villa. Before arriving, Phyllis told us this particular unit had the best view in all of Ko Olina. She was right (and the photos/description from the listing were spot on). Just high enough for privacy. Just high enough to look out over the palms for stunning ocean and sunset views. Just low enough to still be close to the activity on the beach. When we arrived, our greeter was attentive and quick as well as quite informative and friendly. Our two boys (12 and 14) also enjoyed themselves (snorkled with a sea turtle three different days and saw more fish than they could identify). This was our second trip to Ko Olina, the first being the Marriott Beach Club. Both are excellent though this time we definitely had better views. Privacy and security were great. The proximity to the local store (ABC) and numerous restaurants really kept us hanging out at the coves. This unit also had beach chairs, beach towels, etc. so there was no need or want of anything other than some fresh fruit, milk, and suntan lotion. If I had to pick a "negative" comment it would be that the parking was a little tight in the garage because this unit is assigned a specific spot. During our stay, we rented a fairly large luxury sedan and the parking spot is between a Porsche SUV and a support beam. The SUV belongs to a resident of the Villas and the beam isn't going anywhere so parking was a little slow. My only suggestion would be to rent a smaller car and be happy. FYI - we also enjoy the North Shore, hence the reason for a car. When we were visiting the north portion of the island we found miles and miles of completely deserted beaches - excellent beach combing. All appliances worked perfectly and with a quick trip to the store, we were set to focus on the beach/sun/water and not worry about meals. The neighbors were very quiet. In fact, it seemed like we were the only ones there though I know we weren't because we passed numerous times in hallways and elevators. The building is quite clean and well maintained. The freshwater pools and BBQs are great additions to the overall experience. A real pleasure and memory maker for our family. What a way to relax! Thank you.

Best Location in Ko Olina
Posted on: 5/6/2015
This unit is located beachfront with an amazing view of the ocean and sunset. No other hotel in Ko Olina even comes close in terms of oceanfront proximity. We had plenty of room for a family of four, and enjoyed cooking in the amazing kitchen. We walked to the Aulani for shave ice every afternoon and were so happy to return to our quiet, far less crowded lagoon. My husband and I enjoyed walking and jogging the paved beach walk every morning and evening. The snorkeling in the lagoon was good, we even saw a turtle several times. We hope to return for another vacation in this beautiful condo!

Koollina beach front luxurious!
Posted on: 5/6/2015
This was exactly as beautiful as indicated in HomeAway and the view is amazing. It's worth the extra to get the front of property in this unit as more private and beautiful deck. We had two kids with us and the bedrooms were perfect, the kitchen was all we needed and very spacious and luxurious. We loved the pool and smorkeling was as good or better than anywhere else on Island, right in front lagoon. We saw over 10 different coloured fish and turtles. It is a beautiful apartment and the greeter and owners were very helpful. We rented a car which is worth the trips to the North Shore and Waikiki as not to far away. Beautifully appointed apartment, great pools and wonderful location. Thank you.

Koolina was beautiful!!!!!
Posted on: 5/6/2015
We had the best family vacation in a long time in the beautifully appointed and fabulous location of this 4th floor beach front condo. It was everything they indicated and more! The master bedroom and bath is luxurious and ample room for family. The deck where we enjoyed lunches and sunsets overlooks a beautiful lagoon where we snorkelled and saw more colourful fish and turtles than anywhere else on Island. The pools are great as well. Close to the North Shore and Waikiki so renting a car is a great option from here. It's worth the extra for ocean front view. Fabulous place, great amenities and we will be back. Thanks.
