Fantastic!

This unit and the entire Beach Villas at Ko Olina property exceeded all of our expectations. The unit itself was spacious, immaculate, and luxuriously comfortable for our family of five. We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the lanai, and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. We took advantage of the nearby lagoon (which was only a short walk away), the pools, and the poolside bar. In addition to the wonderful accommodations, the staff—from concierge to the poolside bartender—delivered excellent customer service throughout our entire stay. I cannot imagine staying anywhere else the next time we visit Hawaii. I'd also like to commend Phyllis, whom I corresponded with in order to secure this rental unit. She was very patient and informative, and she responded quickly to all of my emails. I look forward to working with her again for our next Oahu vacation.

Just About Perfect!
Posted on: 8/7/2015
This is a wonderful condo with a great sunset view. The condo is exactly as advertised, or perhaps better. The beds were very comfortable, all the furniture was almost brand new and the kitchen was very well equipped. The wall of windows opening up to fully reveal the lanai was magical. The family pool, pool bar and beach are so easily accessible and our family of four had a wonderful ten days here. Phyllis and Blayne were very good communicators and handled our check in quite professionally. The next time we fit Hawaii into our travel plans we will stay here again.

In Hawaii for a Wedding
Posted on: 8/7/2015
The condo was perfect. Everyone, especially Blayne and Phyllis were friendly and always available. The condo was spotless and spacious. We especially appreciated the set-up where the master suite could be closed off so our daughter could come in later than we did (never really got off Eastern time) and not wake up. Property is well-maintained - gorgeous. We headed to Maui after the wedding and were at a resort. We missed the condo.

Perfect Hawaiian getaway
Posted on: 5/6/2015
Our unit was clean and very well equipped with everything we could need. The beach, pool, bar and grills were very well maintained and the grounds are beautiful. Staying out of Honolulu this trip was a good decision for our family of 5. We were able to see more of the island and enjoy more of a true Hawaiian experience. Thanks & Mahalo,

Perfect Villa for vacation
Posted on: 5/6/2015
This was our 2nd time staying in Ko Olina, 1st time at the Beach Villas. The unit was perfect for our extended family, plenty of room for all. It was very convenient having each bedroom and baths on separate sides of the living area. Almost like having two master suites. The appliances and furnishings were top notch and in good working order. Overall the unit was well taken care of and very clean. The ocean and sunset views were amazing although since it is on the northern side of the building the only sun on the lanai is late in the day. That could be either a good or bad thing, depending on what you like. The lagoon areas of Ko Olina are perfect for walking and enjoying the views. We walked daily to the marketplace to get coffee and enjoyed strolling back down the beach walk. It's a great place with plenty to do if you don't want to venture away from the resort area and don't mind walking a bit to restaurants. We frequented the resort bar and took advantage of the happy hours for discounted food and drinks at Monkeypods in the Marketplace and at Longboards in Marriott. Disney has a great little take out cafe called Ulu where we found the best muffins last time we stayed here! Glad to see they still had them along with a bigger selection of other food choices. We also shopped in nearby Kapolei at Target, Walmart, Safeway, Foodland, and Costco to get groceries and necessities. There are also grills by the pool that made it convenient to throw on burgers for a quick meal. It's very easy to travel to the North Shore, Waikiki, and across the island to Kaneohe from Ko Olina and it's best to avoid rush hour where you can get stuck in heavy traffic. We loved our vacation here and would definitely recommend it to anyone. Phyllis and Blayne from Real Select Int'l were great to work with and took care of getting everything set up for our stay. We know we'll be back someday!

Wonderful Condo with awesome view!
Posted on: 5/6/2015
Our family of four stayed here for a week and loved the place. The condo was beautiful and the two bedrooms and bathrooms worked out great. Plenty of space in the condo so you don't feel on top of each other. The grounds were lovely. Saw a turtle in the lagoon each time we snorkeled. The beach bar was terrific, and we walked to the Marriott a couple of times for dinner. The beach chairs, boogie boards and cooler bags available in the unit were put to good use. Very high-end furnishings in the condo and loved the view of the lagoon.

Wonderful place to stay!
Posted on: 5/6/2015
This was a great location for us to stay. The condo was very comfortable and quiet at night. Sunset views from the lanai are awesome! The condo was clean and well kept. We utilized the washer & dryer and the dishwasher regularly. Nice oversized shower in the master. The master closet holds 4 beach chairs and a mat and small cooler for which we were grateful when going to the beautiful beach lagoon. We walked to the Aulani property and were able to rent snorkel equipment from the shack on that lagoon for the day. There are also paddleboards and kayaks available to rent, as well as a canoe ride (for a fee). The lagoon pool area was beautiful and well kept, even though it got a lot of usage during the day at the lagoon pool (we didn't utilize the quiet pool area). The pool bar staff provided fun tropical alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks all at great service too. We enjoyed a lot of walking along the beach on the paved trail going between the marina and the complex. We walked to coffee in the morning at either of the Marriott complexes or across from the Aulani in the little shopping center. We also walked to the Paradise Cove luau one night and very much enjoyed that show & dinner buffet. In addition, we made reservations for dinner a few nights at walking distance resort restaurants. One at Roy's at the golf course, one at the AmaAma at Aulani, one at Chuck's Steakhouse at the Marriott Vacation Club. We thought Roy's & AmaAma were excellent, Chuck's was good. The only minor complaint I have is there was some noise at night from the Paradise Cove luau and occasionally from the Aulani resort. However, this noise ended by 9pm each night. All in all we are ready to go back tomorrow, if it were possible, and would definitely consider renting this unit again!

OUTSTANDING CONDO!!!
Posted on: 5/6/2015
The condo was fantastic!!! The view was incredible; I didn't want to leave the lanai. Lots of sightseeing opportunities: Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial, surfing on the North Shore, hiking to the top of Diamond Head, the Dole Pineapple Plantation, etc. We also stayed in some days and enjoyed the beach/pool area. Hawaii is expensive, but Sam's Club and Costco are within 4 miles! With the gourmet kitchen, we only ate out one meal a day. I would recommend this place without reservation. I am going back!!!!

Great for convenience and privacy
Posted on: 5/6/2015
This is the second time we've stayed at Ko Olina Beach Villas, but the first time in the Beach Tower and in this unit. We thought this far exceeded our previous experience renting a unit in the Ocean Tower. This Tower is closer to the beach than the Ocean Tower, which was great. It is right off the elevator so it was really quick to get in and out of the unit, but it was also very quiet despite the proximity to the elevator. The lanai faces the sunset-side of the beach as well as Aulani and the beautiful mountain so you have unobstructed views and extra privacy. The sunset views were AMAZING. Also, the parking space assigned to this unit is extra wide and close to the elevators. The property managers were really easy to work with and everything went very smoothly as far as booking and checking in. Other positive notes are that the unit comes with a lot of extras. There was a lot of beach gear, such as 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 3 boogie boards, a few other beach accessories such as noodles and floaties, a few beach towels, cooler bags, and a lot of sand toys. We brought our own sand toys but didn't even take them out of our suitcase! The managers provided us with a high chair upon our request, with no added charges. We also found a double stroller in one of the closets which we used to take the kids for walks. The furnishings are simple and comfortable. The décor is nice without excessive clutter. The only criticisms I have are that the unit is on the 5th floor so it is a little close to the small public beach parking lot below. Although the parking lot hours are from sunrise to sunset, we could sometimes hear people in the parking lot in the evenings. It wasn't a nuisance, but just reminded us that there was a parking lot below so we had to keep mindful of keeping blinds closed after dark, etc. Also, the second bedroom does not have window treatments other than the wood blinds that I believe are standard, so the people sleeping in that room had to deal with bright sunlight waking them up in the mornings. The master bedroom has black-out curtains which blocked out the sun completely. Finally, the last minor criticism is that shoes are not allowed to be worn inside this unit. I appreciated this fact, but it would be helpful if slippers were provided to help remind guests. I would definitely staying in this unit again in the future.

Paradise Found

Hotel On Oahu? Never again ... Quiet, clean, convenient, efficient, roomy, comfy, uncrowded... Great, included parking arrangements (need a car to tour the island), Top of the line everything in the condo, lagoon beach was uncrowded and clean (neighboring lagoons were much more crowded), sunrise and sunset views right from the lanai, incredibly quiet floor, wonderfully kept grounds and pools (however, in the lagoon pool both jacuzzis were inoperable and looked to be that way for a very long time- still one operable in main pool), very safe (we had our two nieces - 16 & 18 and didn't worry about them wondering the grounds), Oahu is not the most beautiful Hawaiian island, (for flowers and greenery especially on the West side compared to Kaui and Maui), but Ko Olina created it! Reserving and working with the greeter (Phyllis & Misty) was a pleasure and all timely. Thank you for making sure the niece's dream vacation spot came true! Things to do: Pearl Harbor Memorial (book ahead on line) Parasailing with X-Treme (no other company will provide you the full experience) Kayaking with Windward Sports (they will hook you up -tour the twin islands) International Market Place shopping North Shore (pipeline beach swimming was pristine) Turtle Beach (check them out) Matsumoto Shave Ice (don't settle for others) Waimea Falls (if don't have hikers in your group, this will do just fine to cross off a waterfall) Diamond Head (cause it really is a great view-do it early, you wont regret the benefit of crowd control) Enjoy Ko Olina (beach it, pool it, stroll it, dine it- couple of good spots next door, sunset it, sunrise it, watch the endless strings of weddings)
